1. Introduction
DeepPure Cleaning ("we," "our," "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of personal information collected from clients, website visitors, and - if applicable in the future - employees or contractors. We handle personal data in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) of British Columbia.
This Policy explains what information we collect, how and why we use it, to whom we may disclose it, how we safeguard it, your rights, and how to contact us.
2. Contact Information
We collect your name and phone number to confirm bookings and provide cleaning services.
Your email address is collected only if you choose to communicate with us by email (for inquiries, quotes, or updates).
3. Service Location Details
We collect the service address and basic property details (such as number of rooms, bathrooms, and size) to provide accurate quotes and deliver cleaning services. We also record any special instructions you provide (for example, regarding pets, allergies, or preferred cleaning products).
4. Photographs of the Property
We may request photos of your property to provide an accurate estimate before service. Sharing photos is optional - you may choose instead to schedule an in-person assessment. Photos can be shared through email, messaging apps, or our website. All photos are used only for service evaluation and are securely deleted after the estimate is complete.
5. Payment Information
We accept payments by Interac e-transfer, cash, and invoices. When you make a payment, we record only the details necessary to confirm the transaction (such as the payer’s name and amount). We do not store or process banking or credit card information.
6. Feedback and Reviews
We may collect feedback, testimonials, or reviews you choose to provide about our services. This may include written comments, ratings, or recommendations shared through email, our website, Google Business Profile, or social media platforms. With your consent, we may publish your feedback for marketing purposes (for example, on our website or in advertisements). To protect your privacy, any published reviews are displayed without your full name or identifying details.
7. Technical Information and Cookies
When you visit our website, certain technical information is automatically collected, such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We use cookies and similar technologies to improve website functionality, analyze traffic, and enhance your user experience.
We also use trusted third-party tools, including Google Analytics and Meta (Facebook) Pixel, to understand how visitors interact with our website, measure advertising effectiveness, and improve our marketing efforts. These tools may collect anonymous or aggregated information about your activity on our site.
You can control or disable cookies in your browser settings; however, some features of the website may not function properly without them.
8. Employee and Contractor Information
At present, DeepPure Cleaning is operated solely by the owner. If in the future we hire employees or engage contractors, we may collect personal information necessary for employment or service arrangements. This may include contact details, tax-related information (such as Social Insurance Number), banking details for payments, and employment records. Such information will be used only for human resources, payroll, and legal compliance purposes and safeguarded in accordance with PIPA.
9. Retention and Disposal
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Once no longer needed, information is securely deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.
10. Your Rights
- As an individual, you have the right to:
- Request access to your personal information.
- Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Withdraw consent to collection or use (subject to legal or contractual restrictions).
- Request deletion of personal information when no longer required.

11. Transfers Outside BC or Canada
If personal information is stored or processed outside BC or Canada (for example, through cloud storage or third-party service providers), we ensure that comparable privacy protections are in place through contracts and safeguards, consistent with PIPA requirements.
12. Updates to This Policy
